The award-winning artist is now creating an installation for Sunday's Flag Day Festival that will focus on Seattle's immigration stories. See how Seattle inspires him. Augustine Cita helps lead the Career Bridge program at the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle. The program focuses on creating economic opportunities for Black men who have a criminal history, are at risk or underemployed. "We are changing lives from the inside out."

In 2009, Keith Tucker faced one of the scariest moments in his life. A room full of hungry children in Federal Way waited for him to serve dinner. Tucker did not have the expected spread of hot dogs and chips. Instead, he came armed with a big spread of field roast sliders and lots and lots of veggies.

Estela Ortega's passion for community service began in the cotton and vegetable fields of East Texas. At eight years old, Ortega worked the fields with her family. While facing poverty, discrimination and harsh working conditions, she learned how to rally a community to create change and a better life for the people around her.
